REBECCA HURD Obituary:

Rebecca Maud Vanderhoof Hurd 93, of Fielding, Ut., died Sept. 11, 1988, of incidents due to age. She died in the Bear River Valley Hospital.

She was born Aug. 25, 1895, in North Ogden, UT, to Jesse and Lenora Hickman Vanderhoof. She married Edmund Hurd Aug. 18, 1915, in Malad, Id.

She was reared and educated in North Ogden and Stone, Idaho. She attended school in Stone, Idaho. and BYU Academy in Logan. She lived in North Ogden. Stone, Snowville, Ut. and Fielding.

She was a member of the LDS Church. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneer, enjoyed the horse races, rodeos and fairs with her husband. She was an excellent cook.

Survivors are two Sons and three daughters: Wallace Hurd, Snowville: Lyle Hurd, Caliente, Nev.; Mrs. Verl (Melba) Coombs, Fielding: Mrs. Glena Cobia, Snowville and Mrs. George (Gloria) Ando, San Francisco, Ca., twenty three grandchildren, fourty four great-grandchildren and 19 great- great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 15, in the Snowville LDS Church at 1 p.m. with Bp. C. Lyle Arbon officiating. Friends may call Wednesday at Rogers Mortuary from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday at Snowville from 11 am to 12:30. Interment in the Snowville Cemetery.
