Irvin Joseph Hadley born: 1900 in Brigham City, Utah.

Barber in Ogden Utah. Died August 20 1981.

Erv ran the White Way barber shop in Ogden Utah and latter moved to the basement of the Hotel Ben Lomond. Nearing retirement he moved again up on street level of Washington Blv. near 25th street and bargered on weekends untill his hands got to shaky to cut hair. He came home, through his tools against the wall of his bedroom and that was the end of his career as a barber.

Joseph E. Hadley - Irvin Hadley's father

Brigham City - Joseph Ellsworth Hadley 88 of Brigham City, died 1956. Mr. Hadley was born Aug. 19th 1868, in east Lanesboro, Mass., a son of Thomas E. and Elizabeth Griffith Hadley. When he was 6 years old the family came to Brigham City where he was reared and educated. On September 5th 1894, he married Dagmar Rasmussen in Brigham City. They later received endowments in the LDS Logan Temple, Mrs. Dagmar Hadley died in 1947.

He was formerly employed at the old Brigham City Cement Plant and later moved to Roy convalescent center. He was a member of the LDS sixth Ward High Priest Quorum.
Surviving at the time of his death were three sons and two daughters, Irvin J. and Junius C. Hadley, Mrs. W. H. Mable Wood. Mrs. Kenneth Jennie Skeen, Lyle P. Hadley, 14 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren.

Dagmar Rasmussen Hadley, 78, wife of Joseph E. Hadley, died in her home in Brigham City, Utah, after an extended illness. She was born Sept. 27, 1868, in Copenhagen, Denmark, a daughter of Wilhelm G. M. and Henrietta Lever Rasmussen. Coming to the United States and making her home in Brigham City in 1892. She was married to Mr. Hadley Sept 5th 1894, in Brigham City, Utah. She had 13 grandchildren 11 great-grandchildren, a sister Mrs. Valborg Wheelwright, and a brother, Carl Rasmussen of Germany.

Junius C. Hadley 65 of 2233 Jackson died April 22, 1970 at the McKay Hospital of Lung Cancer caused by cigarette smoking.
Mr. Hadley was born June 28th 1904, in Brigham City, Utah. He was a son of Joseph E. and Dagmar Rasmussen Hadley.
On June 3, 1924 he was married to Lula Celestia Warren daughter of Elihu Nathan Warren and Mary Priscilla Bailey on 3 Jun 1924 in North Ogden. She died on 16 Dec 1970.

They had the following children:

Lee J. Hadley born about 1924 in Utah, USA. He died in Ogden, Weber, Utah, USA. He was buried in Ogden, Weber, Utah, USA. Lee married Margaret Walc.

Lyle T. Hadley of Bountiful, Utah died at the age of 61 of hepatitis. He was born January 30, 1907, to Joe and Dagmar Rasmussen Hadley. Married Virginia Day august 1, 1949 in Bountiful, Utah.
Surviving at the time was: widow, son, and daughter by a previous marriage, Mrs. Ted Peggy Karavinis, 4 grandchildren, brothers sisters Irvin, June, Jennie Skeen

My aunt Mabel Louise Hadley was born on 11 Feb 1896 in Brigham City, Box Elder, Utah, USA. She died on 18 May 1959 in Ogden, Weber, Utah, USA. She was buried on 22 May 1959 in Deweyville, Box Elder, Utah, USA.

Mabel married Wallace Harry Wood son of Jonathan David Wood and Cathleen Blanche Bird on 13 Feb 1917 in Farmington, Davis, Utah, USA. Wallace was born on 18 Jul 1891 in Farmington, Davis, Utah, USA.
